Miss Parker/Mr Lyle - Ah, delicious, delicious twincest. Just another variation on Miss P's fucked up life. Fucking her brother is just like waking up on Tuesday and going to work. Written unashamedly and without holding back. A style I loved from the moment I read this author.

This is Where the World Drops Off by Tahlia
Miss Parker/Jarod - Scary and dark, just like the show. A post-series story so vivid you can see it unfolding in slow motion.

B for Babysitter by Ness
Not exactly new to Pretender fans but something I read recently and thought, "Wow". A powerhouse fic of the kind you just don't get enough of in fanficland. Ness rather cannily leads you down the garden path on this one but doesn't play her hand too soon - and I'm grateful for that. Intelligent fic. Wow, again.

So Many Soldiers by Not Jenny
Such a powerful piece in so few words. I like what Not Jenny does with a brevity of language. Not too much. And Miss Parker is tough as nails and sexy. Always a pleasure to read.

Fallen Angel by Melanie-Anne
This is a series of drabbles based on the idea that Miss Parker was the baby announced still born instead of Mr Lyle. A really intriguing take on events and some evocative writing, showing just how easily it could have all turned out differently.
