Five
Things that Never Happened to Olivia Benson by The Holy Innocent
(Olivia/Elliot, Olivia/ Alex and other scenarios, but mostly Olivia) - Is the
thought of Olivia as a rock star too delicious for you too? Read this. Five
different personalities for Olivia Benson, all of which could be true - and
all of which will make you grin like a silly monkey.

If You See
a Shadow by Annakovsky
Olivia/Elliot - Sloanesomething, Annakovsky and some others have started an
Olivia/ Elliot AU tag game. Some of the best results are recced here. This story:
well, there's something about the whole 'throw each other up against the wall'
scenario that really suits this pair. Sexy and wrong - all those good things.

Olivia/Elliot - A sexy story where everyone is sexually frustrated and no one
has sex - well, not with each other. There's a lot of clever dialogue and all
perfectly in keeping with the character.

Olivia/Elliot - Whatever happened to good old fashioned titles, I ask you? in
this AU Olivia goes into the witness protection programme instead of Alex and
Elliot suffers the aftermath. All the best of the genre from the girl who coined
the term, "aaaannngstcakes".

SVU)
A Dame Longer
and a Beer Shorter (An Elliot Stabler, P.I. Tale) by Bantha Fodder
Olivia/Elliot - The title says it all really. Stabler is the quintessential
PI - marital problems, drinking problems and all too much of a loner - except
for his girl Olivia. A deliciously fun romp in an alternate universe while still
being essentially about the same people.

Criminal Intent)
Control
by TangledAria
Nicole/Bobby, AU - if things had been different (very different) Bobby and Nicole
might have teamed up to screw the world over but good - and Alex would be left
following the devastation in their wake. A compelling riff on the fine line
between genius and sociopathy.

Criminal Intent)
The Heart, The
Heart, The Heart by TangledAria
Bobby/Nicole. Nicole gets to Bobby and maybe Bobby likes it. In this short piece
Tangledaria works out all the intricacies of the Bobby/Nicole/Eames triangle.

The Efficiency
of Empty Spaces by Sloanesomething
Olivia/Elliot - Elliot's marriage has fallen apart and his relationship with
Olivia just gets more compicated. This is a story full of details, little things
that bring scenes alive.
(Law & Order:
SVU)
Habitual
by Sloanesomething
Olivia/Elliot - Olivia and Elliot might be sleeping together but that doesn't
solve anything. Memories collide with reality in this short piece that lives
up to its name.
(Law and Order:
Criminal Intent)
Hearts
and Swords by Mandy
Bobby and
Nicole play mind games and the winner gets Eames. A very credible and clever
portrait of the Bobby/Nicole "hold me, kiss me, kill me" relationship.

Definite
by s.a., Focus
by s.a., Trepidation
by s.a.
These three little Law and Order vignettes
by s.a. go so well together. Completely unrelated but connected by their 'slice
of life' tone. If you've ever felt like you wanted to know more of the Law and
Order characters, s.a.'s characterisations are right on the money and very appealing.
(Law and Order)
Never
Again by s.a.
I was struck by the simplicity of this: moments
in Jack's life were left in dispute. A striking fic for a striking show.

Things I Remember
About Me by Luna
This is beautifully melancholy and a fabulous portrait of Alex post-"Loss."
The immensely popular Alex/Olivia pairing is handled with unique insight that
true A/O fans will love but anyone can appreciate.

My City of Rain by Not Jenny
Not Jenny is a common name on this list, which we make no apology for. She has
an incredible ability to take the smallest moments in relationships and imbue
them with significance. This story is particularly interesting in that it's
the rather unusual Olivia/Casey pairing.
(Law & Order:

nous sommes tous les gourmands
by Not Jenny
Not Jenny
turns her attention to Olivia/ Elliot - a problematic story for an SVU writer
but one that is well suited to a writer who loves a complex relationship. For
those of you who love your relationships messy.

Establish
Dominance by Sage
Stabler and Huang and it shouldn't work but
it works SO well. God, I LOVE mind-fucking and body fucking combined. And this
is a glorious example.

Incomplete
Information by Nicole Clevenger
I love the details in this story about details.
But I especially love Bobby's "ambiguous smile" at the end because it's so very
Bobby and the image is just fantastic.

Sorrow
and Silence by Nicole Clevenger
Lovely characterisation of the duo here.
A very visual story - easy to see both characters doing what they are doing.
And a gorgeous ending.

Eyes
Forward, Shoulders Back by Tahlia
I had thoughts about writing a L & O:
CI fic but this story pretty much said everything I wanted to say. This is a
couple with way too many problems to ever have carefree interaction. A perfectly
complex story about two very complex characters. In this story they are irresistable.

Actions,
Reactions by Nicole Clevenger
Oh lovely. Bittersweet and lovely. And What
a wonderful visual that last paragraph is. Finished with a flourish.
