iStalk: Doctor Who recs
New-school, old-school, shippy, gen, cracksome; I am flexible like Captain Jack.

Planet Earth is Blue (and there's nothing I can do) by Mazily
Ten/Romana/Jack/TARDIS.  Non-linear.  With delicious dialogue and old pains and new conflicts.  It's all rather perfect, really.

Nothing but Flowers by Vali
Long, complex examination of the Ten/Martha relationship, and the earlier relationships that affect the way it's perceived by the couple.  Which is to say, a healthy dose of Doctor/Master to complicate an already intricate relationship.  Fabulously well-written, with layers upon layers of oldschool references and brilliant dialogue.  (Adult.)

Like Nobody's Watching by Andraste
The Doctor has been dancing for a long time.  A series of scenes, vignettes and ficlets as each Doctor dances (innuendo optional) with one of the people he loves.  Or more than one.  Sweet, true to character, and with a beautiful twist at the end.

Bizarre Love Rectangle by UKTechgirl
In which assorted audio and telly companions get disgracefully drunk and flirt a lot.  The Doctors -- Five and Seven -- are more concerned with higher matters, like not killing each other.

People of the Universe by Calapine
Susan and Romana take a night out of time.  This is marvellously understated; what goes unsaid is as significant as anything in the text.

Collateral Damage by Nostalgia
Ten/Rose/Romana. The Time War continues in a more intimate, devastating form.  Nos' never writes sex without a healthy dose of characterisation.  Romana includes Rose in her private battles with the Doctor; Rose is trying to keep up; the Doctor is trying, maybe, to make amends.  Rated R.
